What is Product Registration?

Product Registration enables unlimited and unrestricted access to SoftTech InterCorp’s software products. To register your copy you need to enter a valid Registration Name and Registration Key combination. Registration details are immediately e-mailed to you following the purchase of a product through our Purchase Page.

Where can I find my Registration Information?

To find your registration details please refer to the registration e-mail you received when the product was purchased. The ‘need to know’ registration information is in the following form:

Product Title: Image Merger .EXE v2
Registration Name: John Smith
Registration Key: PC-GH78J-6JYKG-DUQ43-FKGLD-UY85R

Note: If you have not ordered the product you can do so through our Purchase Page. Upon completion of the ordering process you will instantly receive the necessary registration info.

Where can I find the Registration Dialog?

The registration dialog normally appears when you start the application; however, this is not always the case. If you have just recently installed the application, the registration dialog box is suppressed to allow you to get the fell of the program first. The easiest solution to this is simply to wait until you have ran the application enough times for the dialog to appear, then simply enter your information.

You can also access the registration dialog by:

In Image Merger .EXE:
- Click the "Menu Options" text in the lower left corner of the main program window. Then select "Enter Registration Code".

How Do I Register the Product?

Using the registration details provided upon purchasing the product enter your registration name and key. The registration process only works with the registration name provided; you cannot enter the same registration key with a different name.

Example registration info:

Product Title: Image Merger .EXE v2
Registration Name: John Smith
Registration Key: PC-GH78J-6JYKG-DUQ43-FKGLD-UY85R

Copy / Paste Method:

1. Using the registration info you where provided; copy the Registration Name. This is done by highlighting the text and pressing CTRL+C. Note: Make sure to only copy just the name, and nothing else.

Example of what is to be copied:

John Smith

2. If the Registration Dialog is not displayed; then run the application and see "Where can I find the Registration Dialog" above.

3. Select the Registration Name text field by clicking it. Press CTRL+V to paste the name we just copied.

4. Going back to the registration info copy the Registration Key. This is done by highlighting the text and pressing CTRL+C. Note: Make sure to only copy just the Registration Key, and nothing else.

5. Now back at the Registration Dialog Box. Click the ‘Registration Code’ text field. Press CTRL+V to paste the registration key we just copied.

6. Click the ‘Activate Product’ button.

- Open an image; then right-click on the image to display a popup menu. Then select ‘Enter Registration Key’ from the menu options

In Batch Rename .EXE:
Right Click on the "Batch Rename .EXE Logo" on the main program screen. Select "Enter Registration Code".

How Do I Register the Product?

Using the registration info provided upon purchasing the product enter the name and unlock key. Note: The Name field in the registration dialog box does not refer to your name; rather the username you where provided with. In most cases this is the individuals last name in all lower case. The registration process only works with the name provided; you cannot enter the same unlock key with a different name.

Example registration info:

Product Title: Batch Rename .EXE
Registration Name: johnsmith
Registration Key: GH78J-6JYKG-DUQ43-FKGLD-UY85R

There are multiple ways to register the product – below are the most common ways to enter your registration info.

Complete Copying Method:

1. In your registration e-mail copy all the ‘important’ registration info. (Example of what should be copied is below)

Product Title: Batch Rename .EXE
Registration Name: johnsmith
Registration Key: GH78J-6JYKG-DUQ43-FKGLD-UY85R

2. If the Registration Dialog is not displayed; then run the application – Once the dialog is displayed click ‘Enter Registration Code’.

3. The program should have already entered the necessary information – simply click the ‘Activate’ button.

4. The registration will then process and activate your software, no interaction is needed during the process

5. One the activation process is finished (see above). You will be prompted with a confirmation dialog like the one below.

Other methods to enter your registration code:

Copy / Paste Method:

1. Using the registration info you where provided; copy the Unlock Key. This is done by highlighting the text and pressing CTRL+C. Note: Make sure to only copy the unlock key, and nothing else.

Example of what is to be copied:

2. If the Registration Dialog is not displayed; then run the application – Once the dialog is displayed click ‘Enter Registration Code’.

3. Enter the username you where provided in the name field. Example: johnsmith
(Note: Make sure you enter the text using the same case. i.e. all lower-case – no capital letters)

4. If the Unlock Key has not been automatically entered click the ‘Paste Unlock Key’ text.

5. Click the ‘activate’ button.

1. Using the registration info you where provided; copy the username. This is done by highlighting the text and pressing CTRL+C. Note: Make sure to only copy just the username, and nothing else.

Example of what is to be copied:

johnsmith

2. If the Registration Dialog is not displayed; then run the application – Once the dialog is displayed click ‘Enter Registration Code’.

3. Select the Name text field by clicking it. Press CTRL+V to paste the name we just copied.

4. Going back to the registration info copy the unlock key. This is done by highlighting the text and pressing CTRL+C. Note: Make sure to only copy just the unlock key, and nothing else.

5. Now back at the Registration Dialog Box. – If the Unlock Key has not been automatically entered; then click the ‘Unlock Key’ text field. Press CTRL+V to paste the unlock key we just copied.

6. Click the ‘activate’ button.

What should I do if I keep getting a ‘invalid’ key error?

1. Try all the listed methods of entering the registration name and key. You should also double check the name and key fields with your registration info – make sure they match the same case, and don’t have any un-needed spaces.

2. Go over all the information provided in the Registration Support page. (This Article.)

3. Check Versions – In many cases registration problems exists because of using older versions of the product. Try uninstalling your current version; and downloading the latest one from SoftTech InterCorp.

You should uninstall the product by using the start menu > all programs > program folder > uninstall.

You can also uninstall the program from Control Panel > Add / Remove Programs > Selecting the application and selecting uninstall.

Once the program has been uninstalled; proceed to http://www.stintercorp.com/ and download the needed application again.

Install the program once the download is complete and try the registration process again.

4. If you still receive an invalid key error please contact SoftTech InterCorp at: support@stintercorp.com

Please include the following:

a. Your Registration Name (First Name, Last Name) and E-mail.

b. The application name you are trying to register.

c. The error message you are receiving (This is very important.)

The following optional information is also helpful to include:

Appox. Purchase Date
Application Version

How do I get an Updated Product Key?

When I try and register the product I get a message asking me to get an updated key. What should I do?

Simply e-mail: support@stintercorp.com with you current Registration Name and Key asking for an updated key. Please also provide your name (first and last) so we can find your order.
