Converting Photos from My Computer (Windows Explorer).

Are you looking for a easy way to convert between image types directly through Windows? Then look no further this tutorial will guide you through using the very simple Image Converter .EXE Shell Extension to convert your images, graphics, photos between file types.

Step 1:
The first step is acquiring and installing the necessary software. In our case we need to download and install Image Converter .EXE which can be found at: http://www.stintercorp.com/ic.php.
Step 2:
Once Image Converter .EXE has been installed; we're now ready to get started - simple navigate the to folder where the images you wish to convert are located. In are case, c:\My Photos. Now select the image or images you wish to convert; once selected right-click one one of the selected images; this will display the context-menu: If the photos you are trying to convert are a supported file type of Image Converter .EXE then you will 'see' an Image Converter .EXE menu option (see example image below). From this menu simply select 'Convert to 'BMP' and your done. You can now remove the old JPG files if you wish, and enjoy your new BMP images.

As you can see the Shell-Extension also allows for fast conversion options: Convert to JPG, Convert to PIC, Convert to PNG, Convert to BMP, Convert to GIF. If these agree not one of the formats your looking for; you can navigate to the 'All Conversion Formats' where you can find the additional: Convert to DCX, Convert to DIB, Convert to JIF, Convert to PBM, Convert to PCX , Convert to PGM, Convert to PPM, Convert to TGA, and Convert to WPG.
